Sell Gold in Marietta

You have taken the first and most important step in selling your gold in the Atlanta area. Research is the most important because you do not want to end up selling to the guy in the chicken suit on the side of the road.

We have an A rating with the BBB, have been featured on Clark Howard and we were chosen by 11 ALIVE Center for Investigative action to buy your gold. This decision was based on our convenient access to I 75 (literally 15 minutes from downtown Atlanta and Buckhead) our high level of security, our ample free parking, our honesty and integrity, and our high payout on rare coins, scrap gold, sterling silver and diamonds.

Selling gold never has been easier. While prices of the precious metals is still near record highs ($1,325 per ounce, as of today), and with fear and uncertainty continuing to roil the world’s financial markets, gold buyers are eager to pay top dollar for any jewelry, coins or bars you care to part with.

There are so many choices nowadays when trying to sell your gold. In Georgia, you can sell your gold and trade it for a nice new ring or trade it in for gold or silver bullion. Kind of like refining it yourself.

Whether you sell your gold online, at a local jeweler or through a pawn shop, it is very easy to get burned. To avoid getting taken, keep these points in mind:

Shop Around. No matter how or where you ultimately choose to sell, start locally. Take your gold to a reputable local jeweler or coin shop and ask them to give you a quote. That way, you’ll have at least have a base price in hand before you solicit online bids or other offers.

Beware WE BUY GOLD Buyers. We caution sellers about selling to transient gold dealers whom are “rogue” buyers (also known as “hotel” or “pop-up” buyers). They come into town, put up ads promising high prices, and set up shop in a hotel ballroom. After vacuuming up a city’s worth of jewelry and coins, they disappear, sometimes leaving their victims un- or underpaid. In one test, a gold chain legitimately appraised at $250 was offered to a variety of hotel buyers. None offered more than $130. Before you sell gold–whether to a hotel buyer or to anybody else–check with the Better Business Bureau to see if there are complaints against the buyer.

Here are some helpful hints when considering your gold value.
